Ben is an experienced freelance presenter and correspondent, having worked in both TV and radio, for the BBC and commercial broadcasters.


Ben presents regularly on BBC World News, BBC News Channel & World Service Radio, at the BBC's main newsroom in London, from where he covers stories from around the world. He has substantial experience of solo and co-presenting live programmes - and also hosting events and panel discussions (contact for more details).


As well as anchoring news programmes across the schedules, Ben is also a specialist Business presenter, regularly fronting business and economics bulletins for UK and global audiences, including the flagship programme "Business Live", Talking Business and World Business Report.


His experience as a reporter includes covering stories for BBC Breakfast TV, One O'clock News, News Channel, World Service Radio, Radio 4, Radio 5 Live, Radio 2, BBC Look East, BBC London and various local radio stations. As a field reporter/correspondent he has covered national breaking news stories in the North West, Midlands, Wales & Essex.


Previously at BBC Look East, Ben reported daily for TV news programmes, often filming and editing his own reports. As political reporter at BBC Essex and for the Sunday Politics programme, Ben specialised in covering politics on radio, TV and online, with a focus on original journalism.


Other previous jobs include reporting and presenting at Channel M Television (Manchester Evening News Group), freelance roles in BBC and commercial radio, and an internship in US Congress in Washington DC.
